David S. Wenk, age 85, former owner of The Elm Department Store,
Elmhurst; beloved husband of Barbara Zolla Wenk and the late Barbara
Cohen Wenk; loving father of Craig (Susan) Wenk and Keith (Shari)
Wenk; adored grandfather of Lauren, Haley, Sara, Jason and Adam;
cherished brother of the late Ruth (late Jerry) Cohen; treasured uncle of
Diane (Gerald) Carbon and Lynn (Eric) Froberg. David is also survived by
Barbara's children and grandchildren. Graveside service Friday, 1:00 pm at
Shalom Memorial Park, Rand & Wilke Rds., Arlington Heights. In lieu of
