Scott Louis Boorstein, age 21, of Riverwoods, amazing and beloved son of Marc and Nina, nee Dorfman; loving brother of Ali; devoted grandson of Ronald and the late Debra Boorstein and the late Eileen and the late Irving Dorfman; cherished nephew of Debbie (Larry) Peckler, Nancy (Michael) Schwartz, Deni (Mickey) Caplan, Brian (Gail) Boorstein and Danny (Jody) Boorstein, treasured cousin and friend to many. Scott was a rare and sweet person. A kind-hearted, smart and talented young man. One of the most empathetic and caring people. We are lucky to have had the pleasure to know him. He made the world a better place. A loving friend to everyone, especially those closest to him. Too young to leave the world and us. Service Sunday, 1:00 p.m. at B’nai Tikvah Congregation, 1558 Wilmot Road, Deerfield, IL 60015. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions to JUF, 30 S.
