Murial Segal Berkson, 94, died on September 27 after a life filled with family and countless blessings. She was the beloved wife of her husband of 70 years, Orville Berkson; mother of Andrea (Arnold) Levin, Candice (Michael) Gordon, and Stuart (Linda) Berkson; grandmother of Benjamin Levin, Jonathan (Lindsay) Levin, Jennifer (Leland) Jaffe, Melissa (Scott) Sabin, Josh (Alexis) Gordon, Rachel (Adam) Schupack, and Allison (Jonathan) Drory; and great-grandmother to her “little loves” Casey and Camryn Levin, Abigail and Caroline Jaffe, Ariel and Samantha Sabin, Scarlett and Sadie Gordon, and Teddy and Harper Schupack. She was an incredible role model for all of her family members, and her memory will live on in each of them. A proud immigrant to the U.S., she was born in Winnipeg, Canada, raised on the West Side of Chicago, and lived most of her life in Wilmette. She was an active volunteer, loved gardening and cooking, and was devoted to her family. She will be greatly missed. Contributions may be made to the Jewish United Fund, Chicago Botanic Gardens, and National Alopecia Foundation. May her memory be a blessing. Service Thursday, 2:00 p.m. at The Chapel, 195 N.
