James M. “Jim” Jacobs, of Hoffman Estates, loving companion of Jean Berenson; beloved husband of the late Mari Jacobs. Jim is also survived by Jean’s family, Melinda (Jeff) Fine, Sharon (R.J.) Thibideau and Mitch (Stacey) Berenson, and their children Jonathan, Elizabeth, Isabelle, Eli, Lexi, Madeline and Allyssa.
