Condolences

Condolence From: Betty Heycke
Condolence: In 1952 Ernie Karmin signed the papers which enabled an 18 year old German boy ,Dieter Heycke,to come to the United States..The Karmin family paid for his trip by sea. They arranged for German-speaking friends to meet the boat and transport him to Chicago. They took him into their home and gave him a job , Ernie and Kurt were his big brothers and mentors. It is with sadness and a great deal of gratitude for his life that we mourn Ernie’s passing. Ernie was truly part of our family. Betty and Dieter Heycke

Condolence: Ernest’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5:28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope. jw.org/finder?pub=w14&issue=20140101&wtlocale=E&srcid=share
