Al and I were classmates in medical school. We lost touch when Anita and I left Chicago, but would connect when he vacationed in Florida in the winter, and thru mutual friends.His connection with children was evident in our first pediatrics clerkship during senior year. Anita and I want to send our heartfelt condolences to all the family.
