Message: As School Board President, Harvey offered us great wisdom, a passion for life and learning, and a willingness to take risks when it came to what was best for students. His influence is still deeply felt in District 113. I was fortunate to have had many interactions with Harvey and walked away each time feeling inspired and enlightened. I also loved his sense of humor and marveled at his sage knack for saying the right thing at the right time. I send my love to Harvey's family and all who were touched by this wonderful man. He made a difference.

Message: Harvey was the voice of reason when sitting at meetings regarding the referendum for District 113. His presence and command of what was important and how to convey that message to the greater community was well respected by all group members. I am so sorry that he will not be able to fully see both high school buildings refurbished the way that he always hoped and dreamed they would be. Harvey will be greatly missed and I am so sorry for your loss.
