Vivian E. Rice, nee Elstein, age 97, of Chicago, formerly of Northbrook and Lincolnwood; beloved wife for 67 years of the late Robert W. Rice; loving mother of Andrea R. (late Marshall S.) Yablon and Sara (David) Baron; cherished sister of Arthur S. (Rochelle) Elstein and the late Shirley Judith Elstein; adored grandmother of Alexis (David Seidman) Yablon, Malka Bracha (Yiftach Orad) Lebetkin, Esther Beyla Baron and the late Rachel Rivka Lebetkin; proud great grandmother of Leah and Lincoln Seidman; devoted daughter of the late Aaron and the late Rae Elstein; treasured aunt of Elana (Jeff), Aaron (Mara), David (Shuyuan), Diane (late Bill), Martin (Deborah), Carolyn (Arthur) and the late Donna (late Donald) and great aunt to their children. Service Thursday, 1:00 p.m. at Anshe Emet Synagogue, 3751 N. Broadway, Chicago. Interment Westlawn Cemetery.
