Sylvia Pearl Melamed, nee Gottlieb, age 88, of Lompoc, CA, formerly of Miami Beach, FL and Montreal, Canada; beloved wife for 70 years of Sam; loving mother of Harvey, Susan (David) Rentschler and Earl (Stacy); adored grandmother of Jack, Sarah, Nick and Roxanne; dear sister-in-law of Harry, Diane (late Sidney) Burn, Bessie Bernard and the late Manuel (Miriam); treasured aunt and friend. Service Thursday, 12 Noon at The Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove (1 blk N. Lake Cook Rd.). Interment private.
