Ruth Bresler, nee Shapiro, age 81, of Skokie, beloved wife for 56 years of the late Dr. Howard Bresler; loving mother of Andrea (Robert) Sperling and Dr. Michael (Dr. Audrey Tatar) Bresler; adored “Aiya” of Jared Sperling, Ethan and Eli Bresler, Dana, Liza and Jacqui Sperling; devoted daughter of the late Max and Esther Shapiro; cherished sister of Fern (late Jerry) Silverman; dear sister-in-law of Martin Bresler and Michele Bresler Goldberg; treasured aunt of Janet (Michael) Shamberg, Helene (David) Wengenhoff, Peter (Kathy), Justin (Alison) and Ross (Anja) Bresler. Service Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. at The Chapel, 8851 Skokie Blvd., Skokie (at Niles Center Rd.). Interment Memorial Park.
