Jerome "Jerry" Emer, CPA, age 93, of Northbrook, respected sole practitioner and teacher; beloved husband for 51 years of the late Jean, nee Springer; loving father of Joel (Robin) Emer and Jill (Jeff) Cherner; adored Papa of David (Yelena) and Aaron Emer, Doug and Amy Cherner; dear brother of the late Robert "Bob" Emer; loving companion of Marilyn Schoen and was devoted to Marilyn's children and grandchildren. Jerry was loved by everyone. Service Friday, 12 Noon at The Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove (1 blk N. of Lake Cook Rd.). Interment Westlawn Cemetery.
